You Will: 

  • Migrate applications from on-premise into the AWS Cloud
  • Help the customer define their business outcomes and guide their technical architecture and investments
  • Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that will guide our customer
  • Coach and mentor fellow developers on how to develop high-quality code, innovate using the latest cloud technologies, AWS services and development best practices, contribute to enhancing and improving AWS services

 

Knowledge of / experience with: 

  • Adoption of cloud native architectures, distributed computing, and dynamic nature of cloud operating environments to improve agility and speed of delivery whilst minimizing downtime and maximizing customer experience
  • Cloud Security risks and threats, and how to protect against them
  • Security Controls frameworks: SOC2 / ISO27001
  • Automating the delivery of software and infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines
  • Building solutions that are observable in design
  • Pricing solutions that are cost effective whilst meeting business demands
  • Involvement with incident management and response
  • Hands-on experience with containers based on either ECS or EKS platform
  • Good understanding of blue/green, rolling updates and canary deployments models
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
  • Hands-on experience with Transit Gateway, ALB, NLBs

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • A "can-do" attitude and eager to constantly deliver things smarter 
  • General willingness to help customers while they're struggling with technical problems 
  • AWS Certifications
  • Good understanding of software engineering best practices such as code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, deployment, release, and change management
  • Excellent verbal skills (English) and a human-friendly approach
