You Will:
- Migrate applications from on-premise into the AWS Cloud
- Help the customer define their business outcomes and guide their technical architecture and investments
- Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that will guide our customer
- Coach and mentor fellow developers on how to develop high-quality code, innovate using the latest cloud technologies, AWS services and development best practices, contribute to enhancing and improving AWS services
Knowledge of / experience with:
- Experience and knowledge of - AWS, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, API Gateways, Jira, Networking, Scripting, Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Experience working with EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, MKS, ALB, ELB
- Agile development and continuous integration principles and platforms
- Apply agile and lean principles in design and construction
- Familiar with Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Input into the teams AWS platform and operations
- Using your AWS expertise and experience to build scaled and resilient services
- Leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code for managing and provisioning resources
- Building CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments
- Understand the conceptual, logical and physical architecture
- Ability to deliver at pace, whilst making effective decisions
- Ability to input into helping shape engineering best practices and standards
- Investigate faults in systems, processes and services, and advise on the implementation of appropriate solutions and preventative measures
- Maintain and update technical documentation

- AWS Certifications
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices such as code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, deployment, release, and change management
